Webber Middle School Counselors support students in their academic, personal/social, and future planning needs as guided by the American School Counselor Association's (ASCA) National Model. Counselors remain with their class of students for all three years of middle school, however students are welcome to see any counselor they wish. The 8th grade counselor will loop to work with 6th grade for the next school year.
Our Vision statement:
Webber Middle School Counseling Department strives to meet students’ emotional, academic and career development needs through collaboration with stakeholders, including staff, parents/guardians and community members, by providing them with opportunities to learn about their social world and themselves, in hopes of preparing them to succeed academically and socially in an ever changing global society.
How to see your counselor
It's really easy! Stop by the counseling office anytime during the day (passing period, lunch, before/after school), and fill out a slip at Mrs. Ellis' desk. Please be sure to tell us if it's an emergency. Your counselor will send a pass to you as soon as he/she is available to meet with you. You can also find us in the cafeteria at lunch and in the hallways during passing period. You can also email your counselor to set up an appointment.
