My classroom is C24. I work with students in special education in order to support their communication goals. Students work 1:1 with me, or in small groups of no more than 5. Speech/language services are highly dependent on the student and can include pull-out support in my classroom, or push-in support into special education or general education classrooms.
I went to the State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo for undergraduate work. My major was Communicative Disorders & Sciences (Speech/Language Pathology) and my minor was Psychology. I went to graduate school at East Carolina University for Speech/Language Pathology.
I love walking and hiking with my dog (Sammy), spending time with family and friends, rock climbing, reading, ice skating, crocheting, paddle boarding or kayaking, and just being active!
The kiddos!! I have always loved working with children. They say that if you love what you do, you don't work a day in your life! Even when days are hard, I find joy in the children every single day :)
