Hello Webber! My name is Meg Stump and I am the new 7th grade counselor. School counseling is my passion and I feel so lucky to work with such amazing students every day.

I am originally from the Washington DC area and earned my undergraduate degree in TV and Film production from Ohio University. I spent many years working in production, namely for National Geographic and Sundance Film Festival. I had lots of fun working in film but I really missed working with kids. Growing up I spent my summers in the Blue Ridge Mountains as a camp counselor, and always said it was the best job I ever had.

In 2018 I graduated with my masters in counseling from Colorado State University. I completed my internship at Webber Middle School and immediately fell in love with the students, staff, and building as a whole. I was hired at Blevins Middle School as a school counselor and worked there for six wonderful years.

I am so happy to be back at Webber and to be part of the panther family again!

What are your favorite hobbies or interests outside of school?

I love biking, reading, and musical theatre. I also love spending time with my husband and my two small children, Jack and Maggie, and my cat, Zamboni.
