Welcome! I am Mrs. Ruiz, the Visual Arts Teacher here at Webber Middle School. I am in my 8th year of teaching middle school art. I graduated with an art Education teaching license in 2013 and a Masters in Visual Art in 2015 from the University of Northern Colorado.
I am passionate about facilitating a safe and inclusive space where student voices and ideas are amplified through their artmaking.
When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family and pets. We enjoy hiking, fishing, and camping. I also enjoy reading a good book and making art with friends and family.
I am SO excited for a new school year of fresh artmaking!
