This year will be my 33rd year at Webber! I grew up in Fort Collins! I went to Bauder Elementary, Blevins Junior High (now middle school), and Rocky Mountain High School. I graduated from Colorado State University in 1990 with a degree in history. I later earned my master's degree from Grand Canyon University in the Art of Teaching.
I love working with my students and helping them grow as learners and young people. Every day is a new challenge. My job is never boring. Both of my parents were teachers, and I am proud to carry on the family tradition.
I teach 6th grade Social Studies, 7th grade Social Studies, History of Rock & Roll, and Sports Reading. I also love to coach. I coach cross country, basketball, and track at Webber.
My classroom is a place where all students should feel welcomed and safe. I try to make learning relevant and meaningful to my students. Homework is not given every night, but there is always something that students could be reviewing or practicing.
In my free time I love spending time with my family, exercising, watching sports, reading, watching movies, traveling, and eating cookies.
