Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences WHEN: 3:30-7:30 p.m.- Thursday, February 9th, 2017 WHERE: Webber Middle School- Gymnasiums, commons and lobby areas. Teacher location maps and student schedules will be available at the door. WHY: Meet individually with your son’s and/or daughter’s teachers to discuss work habits, skill strengths and areas for growth. (If an additional conference is necessary, please schedule it at this time). Students are encouraged to attend with parents or guardians.

Panther Pride Day will be on January 24th, 2017. We will have an all school assembly during 1st period with Stu Cabe as our guest speaker. The assembly will focus on developing a positive school culture for all students. The workshop will continue the message by focusing on courage, safety, value, and kindness. 6th and 7th graders were randomly selected to participate in the workshop and 25 of our WEB leaders will also be participating. Students and parents received a letter in December if they were selected for the workshop. It will be a fun day!
The wrestling team will have a pre-season camp running from Tuesday January 10th – Friday January 13th (camp practice begins right after school and ends by 4:30 p.m. Please be ready with a ride home). Full scale practices begin on Tuesday January 17th. Practice takes place every day from 2:45-5:00 p.m. and matches are on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the season. Interested 7th and 8th graders must have a physical form on file in the front office to begin practicing with the team. Also, this year's fee is $82.00 and must be paid by the first day of practice.
Our Boys Basketball team will be playing in the second round of the tournament at Kinard on Wednesday 12/14/16 at 3:30. Come on out to support our Panthers.
We would like to invite any girls interested in playing basketball to a preseason camp will go from 2:50-5 pm on Dec. 20,21, and 22. In order to participate in the camp you must have all paperwork submitted to the office. Each child will then be given a blue practice card to enter the camp. Welcome Class of 2024! Are you ready to learn about everything at Webber? Join us at our Open House on Thursday, January 19th at 6:30 p.m. Begin your evening with a presentation in the gym, then tour the building and meet our teachers. You will hear about the curriculum and electives available only at "The WEB" (our nickname for Webber).
It’s Scholastic Book Fair time! The book fair runs from October 10th -13th. The fair is open during school hours (in the LMC) AND during parent/teacher conferences 3:30 - 7:30. Stop by and pick up some new books! We will also have an online book fair if you cannot stop by our fair. All proceeds go to putting more books in our library.
