This is my third year to be a Webber Panther and I feel honored to be part of this community! I am looking forward to a great year and getting to make connections with the students, families, and staff.
This will be my 12th year working in PSD! Before stepping into my role as an Assistant Principal, I taught all levels of middle school math, including advanced placement and intervention classes. As a teacher, I loved helping students see math in new ways and making it feel less intimidating.
As an administrator, my passion lies in supporting students as they learn more about themselves and develop their problem-solving skills.
I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I love spending time with my husband and two sons, traveling, being on the lake, and relaxing at home.
My favorite part of teaching, and the reason I was drawn to administration, has always been building meaningful relationships with students. I believe students thrive when they feel safe, seen, and valued for who they are. I also believe that every student wants to succeed; they just sometimes need support from trusted adults to figure out how to get there.
