ISS (in school suspension), Detention, pseudo counselor, pseudo tutor, sometimes P.E. and Health teacher, Softball Coach.
My classroom is a place where kids come to regroup after struggling with certain aspects of school. My job is to get the student to open up about what's going on, try to come to a solution, talk about accountability and responsibilities, and get them back to class ready to learn in a productive manner.
I have a B.A. in Secondary Education, a M.S. in Management, and I'm a certified teacher in Colorado with a P.E. endorsement. I was an elementary P.E. teacher and a substitute within PSD. I have also taught Health at Webber as well as a girls softball coach. I served in the Marine Corps for 26 years as an aircraft mechanic for 6, and an Aviation Logistics Officer for 20, retiring in 2016.
My hobbies are playing sports, skiing, mountain biking, watching movies and enjoying my family with 3 boys who are Rocky, and Webber students, and my oldest is at U of Arizona in the Marine ROTC program.
