This is my first year to be a Webber Panther and I feel honored to be part of this community! I am looking forward to a great year and getting to make connections with the students, families, and staff.
This will be my 10th year working in PSD! Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I taught all levels of math at the middle school level, including advanced placement classes, as well as intervention classes. I love showing students new ways to approach math, and helping make it feel less intimidating. I received a Master's degree in Teaching from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I love spending time with my husband and son, traveling, being on the lake, and relaxing at home.
My favorite part about teaching, and ultimately the reason I wanted to move into administration, is making meaningful relationships with students. I believe that students will learn at their full potential if they feel safe and valued in the classroom for who they are as a person.
