Bethany Hampson

Hi! It’s Mrs. Hampson (previously Isackson). I’ve taught at Webber over 10 years and couldn’t be prouder to be a Panther!

About My Classroom

We explore how the performing arts can be a vehicle for self-discovery and esteem. My classes include lots of movement, laughter, and dedication to our work.

What is your education background and experience?

I have a Bachelors in Music Education (Vocal) from Michigan State University, and a Masters in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity from the University of Colorado Boulder.

What are your favorite hobbies or interests outside of school?

Singing, trivia, walking with the pups, hiking, biking, CrossFit, puzzles, sewing/crafts, and of course quality time with family and friends!

What do you love most about teaching?

The students provide endless entertainment and joy! Seeing the growth they can achieve over our 3 years in middle school is deeply rewarding.

Courses Taught

I teach all levels of Choir including our select advanced choir, “Velocity.” I also teach Intro to Drama and Musical Theatre Production where we perform plays/musicals. For 6th graders my classes are part of our fabulous elective wheel, and students choose between Beginning choir or Music Exploration as part of their rotation through all electives, quarterly.
