This is my 20th year teaching language arts. For ten years, I taught seventh grade English in the St. Vrain Valley School District. This is my tenth year teaching at Webber. In addition to teaching English 7 and English 8, I am also the WEB leader coordinator and teacher/sponsor for eighth grade WEB leadership class.
I love being a middle school teacher. I love to teach students who are still full of energy and have a desire to learn. Teaching reading and writing is my passion, and I am so happy to teach at Webber--a great school with a supportive community!
Outside of school, I enjoy running, reading, and spending time with my family. I have a husband who is an English teacher at Fort Collins High School and two amazing daughters-- Cara is in tenth grade and Kiley is in ninth. They both attend Fort Collins High School.

My classroom is a high-energy place of learning. I strive to engage students through my positive attitude and encouragement. I believe in teaching and practicing the reading and writing skills that will make students successful both in school and beyond.
