I earned my BA in English with teaching credentials from Colorado State University. I completed my MA in Reading at the University of Northern Colorado. I taught a myriad of writing and reading classes at Fort Lupton High School before joining the staff at Webber Middle School in 2005. I have also coached football, rugby, and track and field.
I love to see how students' abilities grow over time. I really enjoy helping students become cognizant of that growth and the way this understanding leads to more student self-confidence. I hope I help students realize that consistent effort produces positive results.
I hunt and fish as often as I can, usually with family and/or friends. I am a fly fishing guide for Estes Angler in the summertime. I read often, write some, and video games are a guilty indulgence. I also play the drums.
