My name is Diane Gibbs, and I am so glad to be joining the Webber team. This is my 23rd year as a Spanish teacher. Spanish was my favorite class in high school and I strive to make it a meaningful learning experience for students in my room.
B.S. Psychology and Spanish: Azusa Pacific University, CA
Spanish Teaching Credential: Chapman University, CA
Masters of Science:Educational Leadership and Theory with a concentration in English Second Language, Arkansas State University
I taught high school Spanish for 5 years and middle school Spanish for 1 in California. Since moving to Colorado, I have taught Spanish at the elementary and middle school levels. I have worked in PSD for 17 years.
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, drinking coffee, reading, enjoying the sun and water, and traveling.
I love taking a difficult subject and making it fun and accessible for all. I love learning together with my students. Learning about other cultures is an important aspect of studying world languages, and something I enjoying exploring myself.
