Hi! It’s Mrs. Hampson (previously Isackson). I’ve taught at Webber for 14 years and couldn’t be prouder to be a Panther!
We explore how the performing arts can be a vehicle for self-discovery and esteem. My classes include lots of movement, laughter, and dedication to our work.
I have a Bachelors in Music Education (Vocal) from Michigan State University, and a Masters in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Being a Mom, singing, trivia, dogs, hiking, biking, puzzles, watching/playing sports, sewing/crafts, and of course quality time with my family and friends.
The students provide endless entertainment and joy! Seeing the growth they can achieve over our 3 years in middle school is deeply rewarding.
I teach all levels of Choir including our select advanced choir, “Velocity.” I also teach Intro to Drama and Musical Theatre Production where we perform plays/musicals. For 6th graders my classes are part of our fabulous elective wheel, and students choose between Beginning choir or Music Exploration as part of their rotation through all electives, quarterly.
