Hours & Circulation

The Media Center opens at 7:50 a.m. and remains open until 3:15 p.m. on most afternoons. The LMC closes after school for meetings on Wednesdays. A sign will be posted on these days. If your student needs to use the LMC on a day when we close early, please have them check with our Media staff to find out what other options exist. Students do not need a pass before or after school.

During Class:

Students need a pass from their classroom teacher to visit the Library. We love getting to know our students and greeting them as they arrive is the first step!

Lunch Pass:

Students may pick up a lunch pass in the Media Center before lunch. Students place pass on the service counter upon arrival at the Media Center and will stay the remainder of the lunch period. They can proceed to class when their lunch period is over.

Circulation:

Students may check out 2 books at a time.

Books are checked out by quarter at Webber. That gives students up to 9 weeks to read their book without renewing it. We encourage students to return the books when they are finished. Overdue notices are automatically emailed to students and serve as reminders to return the books if finished reading. Students are responsible for regularly checking their PSD email accounts.

Permission/Non-Permission Forms:

Kindles are available for student checkout.

A signed permission slip must be on file before a student can check out a Kindle. Please print off the permission form, have a parent or guardian sign, include a phone number and return it to the LMC.

Permission form - HERE! Or stop by the Media Center to pick one up.

There is a limited check out period (1 week + 1 week renewal) that will limit single student use to a maximum of 2 weeks per checkout.
