What I love about teaching is the opportunity to watch kids grow as learners. I love seeing a student master something that they thought was hard or impossible when they started. I love that every day as a teacher is new and different; it is impossible to be bored as an educator!
Outside of school, I spend time with my husband and two kids- 14 and 17 years old. We have season tickets to both CU and CSU football (see education background) so we spend a lot of time cheering. I love to take long walks, to read, and to read some more!! I also have a quirky hobby of decorating cakes and am always trying some new design idea.
Introduction to world languages
Spanish 1, 1a , 2
German 1 and 2
I have the oportunity to spend time with English language learners in other educators' classrooms instead of having my own classroom. I also get to work one-on-one or in small groups with students which is a great opportunity to see learning and growth with my students.
