Webber track and field is a no cut sport that is open to all Webber students (grades 6,7, and 8!). Webber has a strong track and field program, and each year Webber has over 150 students join the track team. If a student is interested in being a part of the track team this year, please read below:
Webber track and field practices will begin on April 1. The week of April 1-5 will serve as our preseason conditioning camp. All who plan of being a part of the team should attend. A valid physical form must be on file at Webber in order to participate in the preseason camp. The camp will end at 4:30 pm each day.
The official start of the season is April 8. In order to begin the season on April 8, athletes must have a physical card on file and pay the $105 PSD athletic fee. Practices will be held each school day until 4:30 pm.
A parent meeting will be held immediately after practice on April 9. Parents can meet the coaching staff, receive information, and ask questions. We will meet in the main gym at 4:35 pm.
There are 5 track meets this season. The dates of the meets are: April 22, May 1, May 6, May 14, and May 21 (District Championship Meet). All of the meets will be held at one of the local high schools, and they begin at 3:30 pm (except for the District Meet which will begin at 2:00 pm). Bus transportation is provided to and from all meets.
